HERO - MSM Support Service

Introduction

Drug use is very common in Men who have Sex with Men (MSM) community nowadays. In Chem Fun (Chemical Fun) parties, MSM use drugs in order to enhance physical pleasure and bond with others. However, it may result in drug addiction and caused physical and mental illness.

HERO - MSM Support Service is a specialized project for MSM drug abusers, funded by Beat Drugs Fund. The project aims at providing Gay friendly service to MSM, helping them to handle their special needs and anxiety in facing individual, community and societal stereotype, and enhancing the sense of connection of them by providing stratified intervention.

We believe that every MSM can be a hero in their own life. The core value of the Project are as follows:

HHealth:To build up a healthy gay lifestyle for MSM
EExperience:To experience new interests and social relation in MSM Community
RRe-Connection:To create a platform for MSM to re-connect with their family, friends and gay community
OOpportunity:To facilitate connection between MSM community and different social services. Finding new opportunities in providing quality services for MSM

Service Application

Service users can contact our social workers for enquiry and make applications. We also accept referrals for drug counseling service.

Service Termination

Service users can approach our social workers for discussion of the termination of service.

Office Hours

Mon to Fri10:00am - 1:00pm & 2:00pm - 6:00pm
(Service will be rendered during non-office hour whenever needs arise)
