3,000 participants share care and love in “Run with Moomin 2022”

To commemorate our 70th anniversary, we held Hong Kong's first Moomin-themed running event and carnival, "Run with Moomin 2022", at the Hong Kong Science Park. With more than 3,000 participants and the award presenter "Wonder Boy" Mr SO Wa Wai, we promoted the culture of caring and inclusiveness through sports. 

The participants range in age from 3 to 86 year-old with different races and backgrounds. Elders, children, intellectually disabled persons and physically disabled persons gathered in the 1km inclusion race, demonstrating the diversity of Hong Kong.

Our partners from all walks of life supported the event celebrating our 70th anniversary. Different enterprises, including Goldwave Steel Structure Engineering Limited, MTR Corporation Limited and Link REIT participated in the 4x1km relay race of corporate team. Nearly 20 enterprises, such as Dah Sing Bank, New World Mask and Watsons Water, also sponsored the event.

Besides, our friends from The Hong Kong Council of Social Service (HKCSS), St Jame's Settlement, Heep Hong Society, Hong Kong Young Women's Christian Association, Society for the Aid and Rehabilitation of Drug Abusers, Hong Kong Federation of Youth Groups, Hong Chi Association, Hong Kong Red Cross, Hong Kong Children & Youth Services, Harmony House, Po Leung Kuk and Operation Breakthrough joined the 6x1km relay race of NGO team.
