Service Unit: Centre for Harmony and Enhancement of Ethnic Minority Residents (CHEER)
Position: Programme Officer II

Responsibilities
  • To assist in organising and implementing language programmes, youth programmes, integration programmes and other programmes/ services of the Centre.
  • To provide services of the Centre including drop-in service and outreaching service etc.
  • To assist in managing administrative duties of the Centre.
  • To mobilise and connect potential service users.
  • To assist in networking the stakeholders to promote CHEER's services.
  • To update service statistics and correct records, and help in preparing reports to the funding body.

 

Requirements
  • Holders of completed HKDSE or equivalent.
  • Holders of diploma or associate degree or above is an advantage.
  • Relevant working experience in ethnic minorities/social services with at least 1 year.
  • Relevant working experience in running programmes is an advantage.
  • Able to speak, listen, read and write fluent English.
  • Good computer knowledge and skills.
  • Able to work with and serve persons from multicultural background.
  • Able to speak and listen Cantonese is preferred.
