Hong Kong Christian Service (HKCS) is one of the beneficiary organisations of the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2025 - Marathon Charity Programme and has received a charity quota for this marathon for fundraising purposes. We will allocate part of the quotas obtained to a group of young people under our Young Night Drifters service and carers of the elders. We hope that through this precious opportunity, they can further develop their sports interests and maintain a healthy life. We encourage them to challenge themselves and discover their potential.
We invite everyone to sign up as a runner, or donate, to support and accompany this group of young people and caregivers to complete the race. Through this programme, we hope the public can better understand the characteristics and needs of these service users, so as to provide appropriate care and support.

Charity Runner Registration Process
- Submit the Registration Form (The form is for registration purposes only, and does not guarantee a successful reservation of the seat.)
- HKCS will send a confirmation notice to the provided email within 3 working days. Charity runners must follow the instructions in the notice to complete the donation process and email relevant documents to donation@hkcs.org。
- After receiving the donation, the registration link and organisation ID will be sent to the charity runner within 3 working days.
- Charity runners are required to complete the registration by themselves with the provided registration link and organisation code on or before 22 November 2024.
- Successful registrants will receive an application acknowledgement email with your individual Registration ID from the event organiser.
- After the registration information is verified, the event organiser will send a confirmation email to each charity runner in early January 2025, which will list the charity runner's participating group and starting time.
Registration Notice

- We also welcome donations of any amount to support service users in participating in the race. Those interested in making a donation can register through the Registration Form.
- Age requirement: participants must be 16 years old or above as of 2025 (Count by Year of Birth).
- Deadline for registration: 15 November 2025 (Friday) (Limited quota, first-come-first-served basis)
- Donations are tax-deductible with official receipts. Please follow the instructions on the registration form to provide relevant information for receipt issuance.
- If, unfortunately, the Charity Runners are unable to participate in the Standard Chartered Hong Kong Marathon 2025 for any reasons, the donations received will not be refunded.
