To celebrate our 70thanniversary, we published the pictorial book 'Footprints: 70 Years of Walking with Those in Need' in August 2022, which records our development, distinctive services, missions and visions. It also presents the history of social service development in Hong Kong.
The book not only carries historical value but also received international recognition in design and effective communication. It won a Silver Award in the 'Books – Hardcover: Special Project' and a Bronze Award in the 'Non-Profit Organizations: Special Project' at the 33rd ASTRID Awards organised by MerComm, Inc. in the United States.
The ASTRID Awards aims to recognise excellence in design with effective communication. It has attracted commercial organisations, government departments and NGOs from China, Hong Kong, the United States, Canada, Australia, Spain, Germany, South Korea, Thailand and many other regions.
'Footprints: 70 Years of Walking with Those in Need' is a bilingual book which can be borrowed from public libraries and various university libraries.
