Our Bliss OPlus and Fortune OPlus were commended in the ‘Opportunities for the Elderly Project 2022-24’ organised by the Social Welfare Department.
Receiving the ‘District Best Activity Award,’ the Bliss OPlus Project assisted the elderly in acquiring new skills, including balloon decoration, colour painting, juggling, etc., unleashing their potential to serve different age groups. The Project’s volunteer team was invited to decorate the award ceremony venue of ‘Opportunities for the Elderly Project’ on 13 October.
As for the Fortune OPlus, its Project won the ‘Special Award.’ It provided training for both elderly and young volunteers to gain comprehension of various emotions, care for the elderly suffering from emotional distress, and facilitate emotional education in the community.
HKCS will continuously promote community inclusion and emotional care, co-creating a better community with various stakeholders.
