Responsibilities
Part-time Interpreter/Translator:
- To provide interpretation and translation services.
Part-time Interpreter:
- To provide interpretation services.
Requirements
- Relevant working experiences in providing interpretation and translation service would be an advantage.
- Relevant working experiences in social service setting is preferred.
- Employee should have not been convicted of any sexual offences, in Hong Kong or elsewhere, as specified in the Sexual Conviction Record Check Scheme.
Part-time Interpreter/Translator:
- Holder of bachelor degree (including university graduates from other countries including Pakistan, India, Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Bengali and Sinhalese etc.).
- Fluent in reading, writing, speaking and listening English; Fluent in reading, writing, speaking and listening at least one of the following languages such as Hindi, Nepali, Punjabi, Thai, Tagalog, Bengali, Bahasa Indonesia, Sinhalese, Urdu or Vietnamese etc.
Part-time Interpreter:
- Holder of bachelor degree (including university graduates from other countries including Pakistan, India, Nepal, Thailand, Indonesia, the Philippines, Vietnam, Bengali and Sinhalese etc.).
- Fluent in speaking and listening in Cantonese and at least one of the following languages such as Hindi, Nepali, Punjabi, Thai, Tagalog, Bengali, Bahasa Indonesia, Sinhalese, Urdu or Vietnamese etc.; Fluent in reading, writing, speaking and listening English.
