Fortune OPlus

Introduction

Fortune OPlus, formerly known as "Lotus Elderly Centre" at So Uk Estate, was founded in 1994. In response to the redevelopment of public housing estates in Sham Shui Po District, our centre was relocated to Fortune Estate and was renamed as "Fortune Social Centre for the Elderly" in 2002. With additional resources from the Government upon the re-engineering of Community Support Services for Elders in 2003, it was converted from a Social Centre for the Elderly into the Neighbourhood Elderly Centre, and was renamed as "Fortune OPlus" in 2024, which signifies that advanced age is something to be proud of, and our elders have the capacity to explore limitless possibilities.

With "aging in place" as our rationale and "client-centred" as our goal, we are committed to optimise the opportunities of elders for healthy lifestyles, active participation in social affairs and continuous learning through diversified, professional and quality community support services, service model, with innovative approaches and service mindset, so as to embrace their longevity and actively engage in discovering new horizons, to actualise the concept of "active ageing"and to put our new motto, "Proud Ageing, Creating Infinity" in action. Besides, we also provide comprehensive support to the caregivers to strengthen their confidence and capabilities in caregiving, so that the seniors can continue to live in their familiar community.
